Jack McKenzie. The Rusty team has just finished up a trip to the Canary
Islands, footage of which can be seen on their new DVD due out in October.

Finalists announced in 2005 Billabong XXL Big Wave Awards: Billabong surfer
Dylan Longbottom is the only Australian to be nominated in the finals of
the Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards for 2005. Heading an A-grade
selection of the most respected and revered big wave surfers in the world,
Longbottom has been listed in the winner take all, US$5,000 Monster Tube
category for an outrageous four metre tube ride, ridden at Shipsterns Bluff
in Tasmania last month. The winner will be announced at an invitation-only
show before 1500 VIPs on 22 April at the Grove Theater in Anaheim,

22 year-old former South African national champion, Shaun Gossmann, has
signed with major sponsor Ocean & Earth. The two-time Quiksilver Pro Trails
winner signed a two-year deal with O&E and plans to launch a full time WQS
assault. Shaun is based on the Gold Coast and has cleaned up on the
domestic circuit, claiming the MP Classic for a record three years in a
row.
