ASL’S 200TH ISSUE OUT NOW! 08.04.05

Morrison Media’s Australian Surfing Life recently celebrated a historic milestone when it published its 200th issue, which coincided with its 20th year in the publishing business. Tasmanian underground charger, Dustin Hollick, graced the cover of the issue

Since its inception in 1985 and, through all the magazine’s editors, the sole purpose of ASL has been to make people want to surf. According to Editor, Jimmy’s O’Keefe: “ A year back when we realised our 200th issue was to occur at the same time as our 20 year anniversary, we wanted to put something special together. It’s a celebration not only of the magazine but also the last two decades of Aussie surf culture and where it’s left us today. It was a labour of love for all involved. Every photo was shot specifically for the issue, same with the articles.“
